Funeral services for Penny Ann “Tillie” Stone, 60, of Rayle were held Saturday, February 6, 2010, in the County Line Baptist Church with Rev. Wade Palmer officiating. Interment was in the Philomath Presbyterian Church Cemetery. She died Wednesday, February 3, in Doctors Hospital in Augusta.

Mrs. Stone was a native of Iialls, Tennessee, and was the daughter of the late William and Norma Greene Meek. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Mack Stone; two daughters and sons-in-law, Penny and Lonnie Warren, and Patricia and Gary Dobbs, all of Washington; four sisters, Alien Graves, Henderson, Tenn., Ruby Watson, Plant City, Fla., Gloria Maxwell, Dover, Fla., and Margie Stone, Washington; three brothers, Thomas Meek, and William Meek, both of Dover, Fla.; four grandchildren, Brooke Dobbs, Josh Dobbs, Steven Warren, and Amber Warren; and two great-grandchildren, Braylin Dobbs-Stopher, and Tyson Warren.

Pallbearers included Steven Warren, M.J. Smith, Will Etheredge, Jesse Hall, Justin Dooley, and Josh Parker. James Stone Jr. was an alternate.

Hopkins Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
