On the heels of his winning the Wilkes County Spelling Bee for the second year in a row comes the announcement that Milton Turner (right) was the winner of the Washington-Wilkes Elementary School Geography Bee for the second year in a row. Twenty-one fourth- and fifth-graders participated in the Geography Bee. The participants must answered questions about United States geography and world geography. W-WES Principal Wanda Jenkins presented the award to Milton.
