Funeral services for Bobby Gene Noggle, 41, of Tignall, were held Wednesday, February 17, 2010, at the Mallorysville Baptist Church with Rev. Donnie Berry officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. He died Monday, February 15, in Athens Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Noggle was a native of Elbert County but had lived in Tignall most of his life. He was the son of Hugh Dorsey and Edna Arnold Noggle. He graduated from Washington- Wilkes High School and went to the Georgia Task Center. His paternal grandparents were Myrtle Lee and Elco Noggle and his maternal grandfather, Edgar Lee “Son” Arnold.

Survivors include his parents, Dorsey and Edna Noggle; his grandmother, Sallie Mae Arnold of Lexington; and a special friend, Coach Curtis Williams.

Pallbearers included Coach Curtis Williams, Morgan Noggle, Joe Mel Arnold, James Arnold, Leonard Arnold, and Billy Hopkins.

Hopkins Funeral Home of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
