The City of Washington has announced a called meeting of the mayor and city council Friday afternoon, March 5, to “consider changes to the City Charter and related documents.”

            The meeting will take place at 1 p.m. in the council chambers at City Hall. The called meeting was announced Wednesday after this week’s News-Reporter had gone to press.

            The regular meeting of the Washington city council will be Monday, March 8, at 6 p.m. at The Pope Center.
