A memorial service for Frank M. Savage, 41, of Metasville Road, was held Saturday, February 27, 2010, at Morningside Baptist Church, Lincolnton, with Pastor Dan Fernandez officiating. He died Tuesday, February 23, at his residence.

Mr. Savage was the son of the late Maureen Banks Savage and the late Roy Savage. He was a carpenter by trade and was employed by the Lincoln County School System maintenance department. He was a member of Morningside Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Renee Norman Savage; a son, Jeremiah Savage of Lincolnton; mother-inlaw and father-in-law, Mary Powell and Joe Powell of Lincolnton.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Unit 194, P.O. Box 134, Lincolnton 30817; or to the Morningside Baptist Church Youth Ministry, 483 Elm St., Lincolnton.

Rees Funeral Home of Lincolnton was in charge of arrangements.
