Mahlory Waller, bride-elect of Shane Wood, was honored at a miscellaneous shower Sunday afternoon, February 21, given by Andie Bridges, Julia Anne Holloway, Becky Mann and Angie Roth in the fellowship hall of Phillips Mill Baptist Church.

Miss Waller wore a white and red print blouse and jeans. She was presented a daisy corsage to complement her attire.

A heart theme was used and the fellowship hall was decorated in shades of pink, red and white.

Guests enjoyed a delicious assort- ment of refreshments that included spinach dip served from a sourdough bread bowl, fruit with dip, sausage balls, nuts, mints, mini-spinach cheese croissants, red punch a heartshaped chocolate pound cake.

Another decorated table held gifts for guests to view.

Twenty guests were present and a special guest in addition to the brideelect’s mother, Charlotte Waller of Washington, and grandmother, Waistel Thigpen of Thomson, was Priscilla Maxwell, also of Washington.
