Coach looking for good spring seasons


Athletic Director and Head Football Coach Lee Hutto told members of the Washington Rotary Club about sports program in general at Washington- Wilkes Comprehensive High School and about spring sports that are just getting their seasons started. The coach bragged specifically on the W-W girls cross country team for being region champions last fall and on the girls softball team for an outstanding season leading into the playoffs. He also said many of the spring teams have promising seasons ahead of them in golf, baseball, tennis, and track. Skeet Willingham (right) was program chairman for the day.
