Cloverleaf Camp for 4-H’ers to begin June 28, Rock Eagle
The 4-H Cloverleaf Summer Camp will be held June 28-July 2 at Rock Eagle 4-H Center near Eatonton.
4-H camp offers “fun, educational classes, group skills, recreation, and a chance to meet new friends, all in a safe, well-supervised environment,” according to county Extension agents.
The camp is open to all fourththrough sixth-graders who are at least nine years old. The cost to attend is $300 which includes meals, lodging, transportation, and a t-shirt. A deposit of $90 is required at the time of sign-up. The remaining $210 can be made in payments as follows: $70 by April 9, $70 by May 11, and $70 by June 11. All money must be paid by June 11. The refund policy is available at the Wilkes County Extension 4-H Office.
Applicants will be accepted beginning immediately on a first-come basis until a quota of 25 has been reached. A waiting list will then be started. Those interested may register at the 4-H office located on the first floor of the courthouse.
