Becky Phillips of Conyers, brideelect of Casey Norton of Covington, was entertained at a miscellaneous shower Saturday afternoon, February 13, given by her stepsister, Stephanie Haynes of Grovetown, at the home of Richard and Brenda Phillips on the Thomson Road.

Miss Phillips was presented a corsage of a hot pink Gerber daisy and hypericum berries to complement her ensemble.

As guests arrived, they signed a register and wrote hints and suggestions for a happy marriage.

Guests enjoyed delicious refreshments that included a marble shower cake iced in white and decorated in colorful fuchsia and orange Gerber daisies to match the party napkins. With cake guests dined on fresh vegetables, fresh fruits, ham, turkey and roast beef croissants and frozen banana slush punch.

Several games were played and the winners presented their prizes to the bride-elect for her new home.

Fifteen guests attended and included Vickey Glenn and daughter, Laura, and Bonnie Brown of Washington, Betty Holloway, Florence Dallas, Meredith Dallas, Joyce Hightower and son, Lanny, all of Lincolnton, Skylar Haynes of Grovetown, Amber Brock, Ivy Norton and Ansleigh Norton of Greensboro.
