The Georgia State Patrol is investigating an accident that saw an out-of-town driver lose control of his truck last Thursday morning and crash into trees off Harris Road south of Washington. Authorities at the scene speculated that the truck driver lost consciousness and allowed the truck to cross the road and plunge into a wooded area off the road. The driver, who was able to climb out through the windshield, was taken to Wills Memorial Hospital for examination.
