Hospital’s Tea and Learn to feature scrapbooking program on March 24
Amy Johnston, Creative Memories Consultant, will be the featured speaker at the Wills Memorial Hospital Tea and Learn Wednesday, March 24, at 2:30 p.m. at the Simpson Building.
Scrapbooking will be the topic of her presentation.
Mrs. Johnston grew up in Thomson and was a 1994 graduate of Thomson High School. She continued her education at Mercer University in Macon and graduated in l998 with a Liberal Arts degree. There she met Lester Johnston and they married in l998. After enjoying a year in the Caribbean while he studied, they moved to New Jersey, then to Orlando, Fla.
In May, 2005, the couple moved to Washington. While husband, Dr. Johnston works at Med-Link and Wills Memorial Hospital, she is a busy mother to Trey, Carter and Kate. Mrs. Johnston is also a dedicated member of the Wills Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and is always working toward the betterment of Wills Memorial.
