The news is short this week because of The News-Reporter being closed this week in observance of Independence Day, so we had an early deadline. We enjoyed reminiscing about old times and catching up on present news. ƒBonnie Boatwright joined Helen Smith and Gertrude Jones of Crawford at McDonald's in Washington Monday afternoon for coffee and reminiscing. ƒBonnie Boatwright joined James and Kathleen Canup and Fran Thaxton Tuesday afternoon in Lexington for a trip to Elberton to play bingo with other seniors at Wendy's. ƒJ.W. and Bonnie Boatwright went to Thomson Monday for J.W. to see his doctor.
