Talks about new Rural Health Clinics
Dr. Lester Johnston (right) told members of the Washington Rotary Club about the soon-to-be-established Rural Health Clinics in connection with Wills Memorial Hospital. Two RHCs are initially planned, one in Lincolnton eventually with two physicians including Dr. Robert Williams, and one in Washington eventually with three physicians including Johnston. He said that there are definitely enough patients to warrant that number of doctors. Johnston also explained how the partnership with the hospital’s various departments will be tremendously helpful in the management of the doctors’ time. Buddy Lindsey welcomed Johnston on behalf of the club.
