Hotel owners Mike and Christy Todd spent a hot July weekend touching up the ornate trim on the 100-year-old Fitzpatrick Hotel in preparation, they say, for an August 2 opening of a restaurant in the retail spaces. Robert Geiger and Ed Franklin of Talk of the Town2 will move their entire operation to the three storefronts that make up the bottom floor of the Fitzpatrick Hotel. “We will be managing the conference room, restaurant and ballroom,” Geiger posted on Talk of the Town’s Facebook page Monday. “This development has literally dropped into our laps in the past couple of days. Never saw this one coming, but boy are we glad it did.”
