Certified Nursing Assistants complete training
Twenty individuals have successfully completed 112 intensive hours of class and clinical training, and have passed the State Competency Test on June 19 and 22, 2010. Hermecender Walton, TCRN, MSN (front, right) announced the students’ successful completion of her state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant course and reported that the first-time pass rate for the two part test was 92.5 percent. The graduates are now qualified to work as Certified Nursing Assistants in Georgia. Graduation exercises were held at Wills Memorial Hospital where more than 70 family members, friends, and well-wishers were present to congratulate the graduates.
