Revival services will begin Sunday morning, July 18, at Clifford’s Grove Baptist Church, Lundberg Road. Sunday School will begin at 10 o’clock and worship service at 11:00. A covered dish meal will be served in the fellowship hall following the service. Services each evening Sunday through Wednesday will begin at 7:30. Rev. Donald Walton of Oak Grove, Missouri, will be the guest speaker. Rev/ O’Neil Martin and members extend a welcome to everyone. ƒOur annual homecoming service will still be held on the second Sunday in August. Plan to be with us then. ƒSue Davis enjoyed the week before the Fourth of July with Faye and Bill Scoggins, Dylan, Mary Rose and Stephanie at Fripp Island, S.C. Bill's parents, W.F. and Ruth Scoggins of Augusta joined them on Thursday to help celebrate Mary Rose's second birthday at Groupers Restaurant in Buford, S.C. They all had a wonderful time. ƒWe enjoyed visits by two granddaughters during the week before the Fourth. Beth Branham of McCaysville came Tuesday and spent two nights. She graduated from Young Harris College in May and plans to attend North Georgia University this fall. Ann Caldwell of Newington spent Thursday night with us. ƒReid and Kathryn Filipiak visited Pam and Ricky McCarty Saturday evening. ƒJames Braxton III and little Emmie of Hull spent the day Wednesday with James and Judy Braxton. ƒWillard and Sue Lance attended the wedding of his nephew, Clint Lance, to Amy Lee Scarborough Saturday afternoon at First Baptist Church of Fayetteville and the reception following the ceremony in the fellowship hall. ƒOn Friday afternoon James Sherrer visited Edwin Porterfield at White Dove Personal Care Home near Danielsville, Sidney Ann Stoyle at Cobb Health Care at Comer, and also visited Mr. and Mrs. Bud Spinks in Carlton. ƒToday is memory in the making. A deposit in the bank of time. Let's make it a good one.
