Funeral services for Pauline Hopkins Robinson, 85, of Hull, formerly of Monroe, were held Monday, July 5, 2010, at the chapel of Meadows Funeral Home, Monroe, with Rev. David Laycock and Rev. Randall Hopkins officiating. Interment was in the Hill Haven Cemetery. She died July 3.

Mrs. Robinson was born in Cedartown, and was the daughter of the late Reuben Earl Hopkins and the late Annie Mae Ledford Hopkins. She was the widow of Cecil Hicks and John Robinson.

Survivors include three daughters, Darnell Carter of Lincolnton, Diane Hambrick of Monroe, and Kay Epperson of Monroe; five sons, Bobby Hicks of Monroe, Norman Hicks, Tignall, Billy Hicks, Auburn, Dean Hicks, Monroe, and Buddy Hicks, Hull; a sister, Emmer Gunther of Hodgins, Okla.; and several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
