T.C. Harrington

Funeral services for T.C. Harrington, 94, of Crawfordville, were held Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at the Crawfordville Baptist Church with Rev. Wilton Moulder and Rev. Dennis Garner officiating. Interment was in the Crawfordville Cemetery. He died Saturday, July 10, at Heritage Healthcare of Wilkes, Washington.

Mr. Harrington was a native of Dublin and had lived in Crawfordville since 1946. He was the son of the late James and Martha Ann Coleman Harrington and was a longtime owner/operator of the T.C. Harrington Shoe Shop in Crawfordville. He was a member of the Crawfordville Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and former superintendent of Sunday school. He was a Mason, a former member of the Kiwanis Club and Woodmen of the World, and was a United States Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Reba Dillard Harrington of Crawfordville; a daughter, Martha H. Ingram, and her husband Jerry of Jasper; two grandsons, Ken and Mark Ingram; and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers included Ken Ingram, Mark Ingram, Billy Woodruff, Bobby Jones, Robert H. Kendrick, Charles Greene, Charlie Taylor, and Gus Mayo. Honorary pallbearers included deacons of the Crawfordville Baptist Church, members of the Noggle Sunday School Class, Cohen Wright, Babe Reese, and Gray Fowler.
