Alex Pharr, son of Mr. and Mrs. Darren Pharr, celebrated his third birthday on July 12.

Alex was treated several days before on July 9 with a Toy Story pool party at his home. Guests enjoyed a sandwich bar that included chicken salad, peanut butter and jelly, ham, bacon, lettuce and tomato, turkey, roast beef, banana and pineapple varieties, a Toy Story cake, ice cream and watermelon.

Celebrating with Alex and his parents were his brothers, Michael and Chandler; Mr. and Mrs. Trevin Burriss, Payton, Thomas and Anne Marie, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Connell, Blake and Emily, and Mr. and Mrs. Mark Ward, Haley, Hannah and Hope.

Alex was treated again on Sunday, July 11, with a Toy Story family party. Sandwiches, cake and watermelon were served and guests with Alex, his parents and brothers, Michael and Chandler, were his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. G. T. Hall Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Jerrel Pharr of Washington; also, Mr. and Mrs. Kyle Cooper of Auburn, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Pharr, Joshua and Andrew, of Winder and Mrs. Margie Smalley of Lincolnton.

On his birthday Alex celebrated by attending the movie, Toy Story 3, in Athens with his parents and brothers.
