Rebecca Lynn Shedd, daughter of Richard and Rhonda Shedd of Jacksonville, N.C., who will be one year old on July 21, celebrated her birthday while visiting in Washington over the holiday weekend.

Rebecca is the granddaughter of Claud and Sharron Ingram of Washington and Kenneth and Lisa Shedd of Huntsville, Ala.

On Saturday, July 3, Rebecca enjoyed a party with a sand pile filled with dinosaurs, a kiddie pool and sidewalk chalk, while visiting her grandparents, Claud and Sharron Ingram. Friends also enjoyed the Slip ‘n’ Slide and volleyball.

Grilled hamburgers and hot dogs with all the trimmings, were served with baked beans, coleslaw, potato salad, macaroni and cheese, pasta salads, chips, drinks, ice cream cake and popsicles.

Celebrating with Rebecca, her parents and grandparents were 40 relatives and friends.
