Thanks to all who were involved

With the 2010 Washington-Wilkes Little League season ending, appreciation is in order for those who were involved with another successful Little League year.

A big thank you goes to all the businesses and individuals who made financial donations because without them, Washington-Wilkes Little League would not be able to survive.

Thanks to Pete Gartrell and the entire staff at the Washington-Wilkes Parks and Recreation department for keeping the fields cut at Ashley Park. The biggest thanks of all, according to Little League President Tommy Saggus, goes to all of the parents who allowed their children to be a part of this special organization.

“Thanks for attending the games, supporting the concession stand, driving to and from practices and all the drinks and snacks for the team,” Saggus said.
