Bethel United Methodist Church will have homecoming July 25, 11 a.m., with a covered dish lunch after the service. Rev. Charles F. Robinson, former pastor of Bethel and the Little River Charge from 1978 to 1982, will be the speaker. Rev. Robinson is presently the pastor of Mountain Park United Methodist Church at Stone Mountain. Revival services will be announced at a later time.

New Salem Baptist Church in the Tyrone community will have homecoming Sunday, August 1, 11:30 a.m. The pastor, Rev. R.L. Reynolds, will bring the morning message. Revival services will be held the following Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 7:30 p.m. Rev. Andy Thornton of Atlanta will be the revival speaker.

Brinkley’s Chapel Baptist Church will celebrate the anniversary of the ushers board on Sunday, August 1, at 4 p.m. Rev. F. D. Favors and Springfield Baptist Church will be in charge of the service.

Marks Tabernacle Baptist Church will have revival services July 26-30, 7:30 p.m. Rev. LaRay Tillman of Atlanta and pastor of Marks Tabernacle will be the speaker of the week.

The Move of God Church, 152 Horace Callaway Road, Rayle, will have an all-night prayer vigil Friday, July 23, 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. July 24. The Move of God Church is a non-denominational, multi-cultural church focusing on complete deliverance wherein the wounded are made whole.

Stevens Grove Baptist Church, located five miles south of Lexington off Highway 78, will observe its 96th homecoming on Sunday, August 1. Guest speaker for the morning service at 11 a.m. will be Charles Hardie of Gum Springs, Va. He is a retired foreign missionary who has served in Taiwan and Siberia among other places. A covered dish luncheon will follow the morning worship hour.

The Move of God Church, 152 Horace Callaway Road, Rayle, will have its annual Holy Ghost Revolution Sunday morning, July 25, through Sunday evening, August 1. There will be three services daily: 10 a.m., 2 p.m., and 7 p.m. There will be different speakers at each service.

Looking for some good books at bargain-basement prices? Stop by the Friends' Bookstore at the Mary Willis Library. The shelves have been reorganized and replenished with hardback and paperback books, videos, books on tape, etc. Open during library hours. Come in out of the summer heat and browse.

The next session of the First Baptist Church, Washington, women's Bible study will begin Wednesday morning, August 11, at 9 a.m. The evening sessions will begin Thursday, August 12, at 7 p.m. Title of the study is "Here and Now . . .
