Rumors have flourished over the past week concerning false allegations against Dr. Robert Williams, a local family physician practicing in Lincolnton.

After receiving numerous calls and checking with state and local law enforcement officials, The Lincoln Journal has found these rumors to be patently false and without any basis in fact.
