FFA officers set goals for the year

The Washington-Wilkes FFA Chapter held its annual Chapter Officer Leadership Conference (COLT) at Tallulah Gorge State Park June 30-July 2. The 2010-2011 officers set goals for the year which included 100% membership, winning area and state CDEs, and increasing the number of students receiving the Greenhand and Chapter degrees. Officers also began learning the opening and closing ceremony parts for their individual officer positions. Officers for the upcoming year are (front) Grant Chafin, historian; (back, l-r) Trent Martin, president; Misty Johnson, reporter; Chase Shelton, sentinel; Hollie Huffman, vice president; Emily Tanner, secretary; Juanita Moran, student advisor; and Josh McLeroy, treasurer.
