Youth, chaperones of St. Luke enjoy trip to Florida and Disney
Chaperones on the St. Luke Baptist Church Disney World trip included Shauntale Elder, Montessa Wynn, Kenderick Henderson, Chris Hunter Jr., Kim Hunter, Chris Hunter, Doris Hunter, Tina Brown, Pastor Alvin Rivers, Donnie Martin, Kebearl Rivers, Marie Anderson, Phyllis Wynn, Shantell Henderson, Justin Boyington, Vernell Cullars, Hermecender Walton, (not pictured) Roman Hawes, Shaunda Norman, Tamika Holiday, Terrence Elder, JoAnn Elam, Glenda Martin, Louise Walker, and Peggy Holiday.
The youth of the St. Luke Baptist Church enjoyed a trip to Florida and Walt Disney World.
Departing at 3 a.m. onboard a Horizon Motorcoach headed to Orlando, Florida, the group enjoyed breakfast in Jacksonville, Florida, and later spent 3 hours at Daytona Beach. After leaving Daytona Beach, the group journeyed to Orlando and enjoyed several hours of shopping at the Florida Mall before checking into the Westgate Resort.

After an evening enjoying the pools and sights on the resort, everyone enjoyed ribs, salad, and soft drinks prior to turning in for the night.
Friday, June 25, the group enjoyed the evening at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. The highlight of the evening was the Disney Electrical Parade. The adult chaperones later enjoyed an evening at Universal Studios.
Saturday evening, the group traveled to “Olde Towne” in Kissimmee, Florida. The highlight of the evening was the antique car show. Everyone enjoy food of their choice, many rides, and shops. The group departed from Florida Sunday morning headed home to Georgia. Stops were made at the Flea Market in Daytona and for lunch in Jacksonville. The group returned home Sunday evening, June 27.
