Hannah Mansfield honored at tea party birthday celebration
Hannah Elizabeth Mansfield, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Mansfield of Norcross, celebrated her eighth birthday with a tea party held at the Potted Geranium Tea Parlor in Greensboro on Wednesday, July 14. Her birthday was July 16.
Hannah and her guests had her guests had the opportunity to order the pot of tea of their choice and enjoyed sampling each other’s flavors. Party foods including cold peach soup, quiche, sandwiches, and a delectable dessert from which to chose were served.
Celebrating with Hannah were her mother, her sister, Emily, her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Gary Mansfield of Washington; two of her aunts, Mrs. Fred Moon and Mrs. Milton Meadows; and two cousins, Mrs. Billy Byce and Mrs. Bill Byce, all of Greene County.
On Thursday, July 15, Hannah celebrated with her great-grandmother, Mrs. Clifford Mansfield, at Washington Manor and shared her birthday cake with some of the residents. They all sang Happy Birthday to Hannah.
When the family returned home to Norcross, Hannah celebrated once again with a pool party and sleep-over with some of her friends there.
