More than a thousand children from several schools will be introduced to live theater next week at the Washington Little Theater Company’s Children’s Theater presents “The Reluctant Dragon” in 11 performances. Led by Director Phil Rothman, actors (l-r) Billy Creel, Laura Connelly, Paula Stevens, Scott Lewis, and Greg Colvard rehearse this week for the three-day marathon of performances. “This play has a great moral lesson,” Rothman said. “It teaches kids not to prejudge someone, not to judge a book by its cover, and that more can be gained by cooperation than by conflict. We can’t wait to perform for the kids.” More than a thousand children from several schools will be introduced to live theater next week at the Washington Little Theater Company’s Children’s Theater presents “The Reluctant Dragon” in 11 performances.
