TO THE EDITOR:

Why should the responsible citizens of Washington be subjected to the actions of so few? It seems during this economic climate that Willie Burns and Company are taking fiscal irresponsibility to a new low.

Drunken sailors on shore leave spend money with more caution. I don't gamble with my money and I certainly don't trust our city government to do it!

In closing, it is not my intention to insult drunken sailors. They earn what they spend.
