The annual Fall Cruise-In on The Square in downtown Washington will be held Saturday, September 11, 6-9 p.m. Memory Lane Cruisers is sponsor of the Cruise-In which is open to antiques, hot rods, trucks and motorcycles. There is a $10 registration fee, and Tommy Landrum's Cruzin' to the Oldies will be providing the music. There will be food, prizes, and fun for the family. The first 100 to register will receive dash plaques. The show is open to the public.

The Bartram Trail Regional Library System, including the Mary Willis Library, Thomson- McDuffie Library, and Taliaferro County Library, will be closed Monday, September 6, in observance of Labor Day.
