Kip Burke will be the featured speaker at the Wills Memorial Hospital Tea and Learn Wednesday, September 8, at 2:30 p.m. in the hospital café.

“Everything You Want to Know About The News Reporter” will be the topic of his presentation.

Mr. Burke is a native of Birmingham, Ala., and has been a newspaper reporter, editor and writer for 35 years. After 15 years in the United States Navy where he served as journalist and photo journalist, he joined The News Reporter staff in 2003 as news editor.

He and his wife, Margie, who is training director for Cravco McDonald’s, have two sons, Philip, 26, and Charlie, 24.
