Capitol Hill intern speaks at Rotary meeting


Molly Newsome (left) told members of the Washington Rotary Club about her experiences in Washington, D.C., this summer where she worked as an intern for Congressman Jack Kingston of Savannah. She was selected for the position following a series of interviews conducted by the University of Georgia Honors Program. Molly told the club what it was like to work “on The Hill,” and some interesting facts and stories about some of the things she discovered there. Her father, Sparky Newsome, was program host for the day.
