This Sunday, September 12, a children’s dedication service will be held, and a covered dish fellowship meal will be served at noon. Everyone interested is welcome to attend. ƒJames and I and Betty Reese were among the senior adults who attended the salad luncheon and program at Tignall Baptist Church Tuesday. Leigh Beggs of Lincolnton gave her very touching testimony. We all enjoyed meeting and talking to her and also enjoyed the lunch. Thanks to Pat Bobo and her helpers, we always enjoy it all. ƒSunday, September 5, was Trudy Sutherland's birthday. She and John went out for supper that evening to celebrate. Happy birthday wishes to her mother, Mrs. Juanita Bradford, on Tuesday, September 14. They and Brad spent Saturday in Augusta having a good time shopping and having supper together before returning home. ƒ James and I went to White Dove Personal Care Home near Danielsville Friday afternoon to visit his longtime friend, Edwin Porterfield. Then we visited Sidney Ann Stoyles at Cobb Health Care in Comer and also Bud and Valerie Spinks in Carlton. ƒKathryn Filipiak spent last Sunday night with her friend, Emily Lavreta, and her little baby in Atlanta.
ƒTrudie Sutherland and Mrs. Juanita Bradford visited Joyce Bradford in Thomson Wednesday morning. ƒCharles and Amelia Hopkins of Elbert County visited Iris Dyson Sunday afternoon. ƒWillard and Sue Lance went to Tifton Saturday to spend the night and Sunday with her mother, Mrs. Ruby Johnson. ƒ"Stand up to be seen.
