Funeral services for Nancy Ruth Armour Moon, 67, of Brown Road, Washington, were held Saturday morning, September 4, 2010, at the County Line Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Kenney officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. She died Thursday, September 2, at her home. Mrs. Moon was a native of Wilkes County and was the daughter of the late Thomas Watson Armour and Cynthia Mae Franklin Armour. She was a quality assurance technician for Clark-Schwebel Inc. and served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. She was a member of County Line Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Ernest Moon; a son, Sidney James Miltz of New Orleans, La.; three brothers, Watson Armour of Washington, Charles Armour of Warner Robins, and Fred Armour of Elberton; two sisters, Winnie Sue Thompson, Washington, and Janice Leigh Browning, Winterville; eight grandchildren; and two greatgrandchildren.

Deacons of County Line Baptist Church served as pallbearers.
