Powder Puff game set for this Friday at Tiger Stadium

Washington-Wilkes Comprehensive High School will have its annual Powder Puff football game this Friday, September 10, at 7 p.m. at Tiger Stadium. The face-off will be between the upper and lower classmen – freshmen and sophomores vs. juniors and seniors.

High school boys will show off their cheerleading skills throughout the game as well. Tickets are $3 per person. Children under the age of six will get in at no charge. Gates will open at 6:15 p.m. and light concessions will be available to the fans.

The game is sponsored by the WWCHS Student Council and helps raise money for the school and for various community projects.

Also, at each home game this year, the W-WCHS Student Council will be hosting a 50/50 raffle to raise money for the school and community projects.
