Brantley Burt Rogers baptized November 7 at Mt. Zion Methodist

Brantley Burt Rogers, son of Bubba and Lindsey Rogers of Rayle, received the Sacrament of Baptism during services at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Sunday, November 7. Rev. Richard Broom officiated the services.

Brantley wore his mother’s christening gown of delicate linen and lace and a matching bonnet.

He was the fifth generation member of his family to be baptized at Mt. Zion.

Among those standing with Brantley and his parents were his grandparents, Burt and Lynn Goolsby of Rayle and Darrell Rogers and Helen Rogers of Washington; greatgrandparents, Brian and Lavenia Henderson and Margie Rogers, and great-great-grandmother, Louise Burt, also of Washington.

Other family and friends were also present for the service.

All gathered for dinner following the service.
