WLTCo. to present program of Christmas music Dec. 10-12

The Little Theater Singers will be singing many Christmas favorites during the Washington Little Theater’s presentation of “It’s Christmas In Washington,” a musical variety show, on December 10, 11, and 12. Jo Randall is overall director of the show with Shirley Gunter directing the Children’s Chorus. “It’s Christmas In Washington” and the Washington Little Theater Company will be helping folks “get in the spirit” as it presents a musical variety show by that name on December 10, 11, and 12, at the Bolton Lunceford Playhouse.

Show times are 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday evenings and 2 p.m. on Sunday.

The Little Theater Singers will be singing many of the favorites of the Christmas season. “Mistletoe,” a novelty tune with tongue twisting lyrics will set the stage for young Kelsey Leard to sing “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus.”

Jim Caddell will be telling the children about his visit with Santa Claus and the men will join him in singing “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town.”

The Children’s Chorus will sing about Rudolph, Santa and the Chipmunks. They will sing the traditional favorite, “Away In a Manger” accompanied by Emmanuel Aburto, violinist, and Lykah Mora, pianist.

The final section of the show will be a Sing-Along with the audience participating in singing Christmas Carols.

Cost is $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children 12 and under. Members may use their 2010 membership cards.
