Transforming Life Ministries will have its July Master’s Monday Worship Service July 11, 7 p.m., at the Church of the Mediator, Episcopal Church. Evangelist Tracey Jackson of Rayle Outreach Deliverance Ministry will be the special guest minister. Rev. Frank Moore is pastor.

Mulberry Baptist Church will have a three-night revival August 22-24, 7:30 p.m. Each night will have a different speaker. Rev. Charles Henderson from New Saints CME Church will speak on Tuesday night; Rev. R. L. Reynolds, New Salem, Wednesday night; and Rev. Willie J. White, Newberry Baptist Church, Thursday night.

Thankful Baptist Church, located at the end of Broad Road in Tignall, will have its Men and Women’s Day program on July 10 at 11:30 a.m.

The youth of Reeves Chapel Baptist Church will have a hotdog/ hamburger sale at the Dollar Store in Tignall on Saturday, July 2. For more information, call Gladys at 706-258-2562.

The Washington-Wilkes Toastmasters Club will meet at the Mary Willis Library at 6 p.m. on July 11 and 18. The club will not meet on July 4. Citizens desiring to improve their communication and leadership skills are invited to join.

Rocky Mount Baptist Church will have revival services July 18- 20, 7:30 p.m. Pastor Henra Hosea Chennault of Atlanta will be the guest speaker. He is the pastor of Immanuel Baptist Church and assistant pastor of Park Avenue Baptist Church in Atlanta.

Newtown Baptist Church will have homecoming on Sunday, July 10, with Rev. W.C. Bentley as the speaker. Sunday school will begin at 10 a.m. and will be followed by the worship service at 11 a.m. Dinner will be served on the grounds after the service.

Mt. Carmel Baptist Church will have its annual revival services July 25-29 at 7:30 p.m. each evening. Rev. Tommy Burgess Jr. of Thomson will be the guest minister along with his church, New Vision Baptist Church. Rev. Charles Belton is pastor of Mt. Carmel.

Newtown Baptist Church will have revival services Monday- Wednesday, July 11-13, with Rev. Wade Palmer as the speaker. Services will be at 7:30 p.m. and there will be special music each night.

There will be a benefit program honoring Marlos Chenault who was in injured in an automobile accident Saturday, July 2, 5 p.m., at the Third Shiloh Missionary Center, 219 McLendon Drive.

The Old School Reunion will meet Saturday, July 23, 12 p.m., at the Mary Willis Library.

New Ford Baptist Church will have its annual revival services Monday, July 18, through Wednesday, July 20, at 7:30 p.m. The guest speaker will be Rev. Jimmy McCullough of the Ways Grove Baptist Church in Wrens.

New Ford Baptist Church members and friends are reminded that on Sunday, July 9, at 11:15 a.m., New Ford will join Springfield Baptist Church of Washington in worship and celebration of Springfield's 143rd church anniversary. Both Sunday school and morning worship service will take place at Springfield.

The churches of Wilkes County and surrounding counties are invited to participate in the countywide Gospel Musical Extravaganza on The Square in Washington July 30, 6 p.m.

Lyonsville Baptist Church will have its annual Deacons Fellowship on Sunday, July 10, at 3 p.m. The guest speaker will be Eddie Finnell, chairman of Springfield Baptist Church Board of Deacons and retired educator.
