The annual Rotary Pancake Supper will be held Friday, October 14, 5-7:30 p.m., at the W-W Elementary School Cafeteria. Tickets are available from members or at the door.

Fishing Creek Baptist Church will have a Country Cooking Supper Saturday, October 22, 6-8 p.m. The cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children under 12.

Booker’s Chapel Baptist Church will have its annual family and friends day Sunday, October 9, 4 p.m. Pastor Tonita Cody of Park Grove FBH Church of Lincolnton will bring the message and the praise team will be in charge. The special guest choir will be the Virtuous Women of Praise. Earl and Elizabeth Sims of New Ford Baptist Church will each sing a solo. Refreshments will be served.

Clifford Grove Baptist Church, 2741 Callaway Road, Rayle, will commemorate the sixth anniversary of the pastor and his wife, A.J. and C.B. Richardson, Thursday, September 29, 7:30 p.m., with Rev. Tracy Boles, Timothy Baptist Church, Athens, as speaker; Sunday, October 2, 11 a.m., Rev. Anthony Williams, New Zion Church, Crawford; and 3:00 p.m., Bishop Stephen B. Hall, Rhema Christian Fellowship, Decatur, speaker.

" Journey through the Bible" is a 52-week intensive study of the entire Bible and is for ages 12 and up. Only 12 persons are allowed per class.
