Driving under the influence tops roundup of November’s arrests in Wilkes County

Drug sales, property crimes, and a high number of DUI arrests lead the roundup of November law enforcement activity in Wilkes County. The following arrest reports are provided by local law enforcement officials. Arrest does not imply guilt, and criminal charges are merely accusations. A defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty and convicted.

William Scott Buckner, 19, of Washington, was arrested November 10 by Washington police and charged with felony illegal possession of a controlled substance and with theft by taking. No bond was noted.

Robbie Lee Carrithers, 36, of Wilkes County, was arrested November 4 by Wilkes deputies and charged with two counts of felony theft by taking. No bond was noted.

Fernando Vasquez, 56, of Crawfordville, was arrested November 12 by Washington police and charged with aggravated assault. He was held on $10,000 bond.

Richard Gunter Brown, 17, of Washington, was arrested November 10 by Washington police and charged with felony theft by taking. He was released on $7,200 bond.

Carla Renea Perry, 40, of Rayle, was arrested November 23 by Washington police and charged with DUI (second offense), and driving while license is withdrawn (second offense). She was released on $5,038 bond.

Darvin Crew, 24, of Rayle, was arrested October 27 by Wilkes deputies and charged with felony theft by taking. He was released on $5,000 bond.

Thomas Nesbitt, 32, of Crawford, was arrested October 26 by Wilkes deputies and charged with felony theft by taking. He was released on $5,000 bond.

Charles Edward Weaver, 43, of Washington, was arrested November 16 by Washington police and charged with felony burglary. He was held on $5,000 bond.

Dwaine Howard Fowler, 40, of Stephens, Ga., was arrested November 17 by Wilkes deputies and charged with theft by taking. He was released on $5,000 bond.

George Tutt, 51, of Washington, was arrested November 8 by Washington police and charged with theft by taking. He was released on $3,700 bond.

Luther J. Bowles, 57, of Louisville, Ga., was arrested November 12 by Washington police and charged with DUI and with failure to drive within a single lane. He was released on $3,644 bond.

Ravonda Small, 32, of Tignall, was arrested October 27 by Wilkes deputies and charged with being a party to the crime of theft by taking. She was released on $3,500 bond.

Waddy Luke, 51, of Tignall, was arrested October 27 by Wilkes deputies and charged with theft by taking. He was released on $3,500 bond.

Rodney Deon Lester, 32, of Rayle, was arrested November 13 by Washington police and charged with DUI (second offense), violation of the open container law, and failure to stop for a stop sign. He was released on $3,154 bond.

Zantavious Demarkeiuntoire Perlotte, 20, of Rayle, was arrested November 5 by Washington police and charged with DUI, misdemeanor possession of marijuana less than one ounce, and with defective headlights. He was released on $3,420 bond.

Cadetris Tywarlos Davis, 35, of Washington, was arrested November 20 by Washington police and charged with DUI, violation of the seat belt law, and disorderly conduct. He was released on $2,224 bond.

Marquitta Hall, 27, of Washington, was arrested October 29 by a Georgia State Patrol trooper and charged with DUI, DUI endangerment of a child under 14, and speeding 74 mph in a 55 zone. She was released on $2,588 bond.

Fredrigus Brittain, 31, of Wilkes County, was arrested November 18 by Washington police and charged with DUI, failure to drive within a single lane, and violation of the open container law. He was released on $2,268 bond.

Robert B. Swann, 47, of Augusta, was arrested November 19 by a Georgia State Patrol trooper and charged with DUI, violation of the open container law, and failure to drive within a single lane. He was released on $2,138 bond.

Gary Jerome Harris, 33, of Warrenton, was arrested November 18 by a Georgia State Patrol trooper and charged with DUI, violation of the seat belt law, and speeding 26 to 30 mph over. He was released on $1,998 bond.

Tracey Bradley, 48, of Tignall, was arrested November 19 by a Georgia State Patrol trooper and charged with DUI and with violation of the open container law. He was released on $1,938 bond.

Brett Terrell Ray, 53, of Washington, was arrested November 23 by a Georgia State Patrol trooper and charged with DUI. He was released on $1,822 bond.

Walter Lee Kennedy, 53, of Washington, was arrested November 14 by Washington police and charged with DUI and failure to drive within a single lane. He was released on $1,822 bond.

Patricia Davis, 42, of Washington, was arrested November 27 by a Georgia State Patrol trooper and charged with DUI. She was released on $1,628 bond.

Shaquenda Lashon Gartrell, 19, of Washington, was arrested November 18 by Washington police and charged with driving while a license is withdrawn and with violation of a brake light requirement. She was released on $1,522 bond.

Emory Brett McAvoy, 21, of Augusta, was arrested October 30 by Washington police and charged with DUI and with speeding 26 to 30 mph over. He was released on $953 cash fine.

William Thomas Thornton, 48, of Wilkes County, was arrested November 19 by a Georgia State Patrol trooper and charged with DUI. He was released on bond.

Corey Danner, 36, of Washington, was arrested October 26 by Washington police and charged with driving while license is withdrawn and with failure to appear on a municipal court bench warrant. He was released on $1,573 bond.

Hernando Gonzalo Diaz, 61, of Hull, Ga., was arrested by Washington police and charged with speeding 26 to 30 mph over and with driving without a license. He was released on $1,704 bond.

Brian Xavier Walker, 30, of Blackville, S.C., was arrested November 7 by Washington police and charged with DUI and with failure to drive in a single lane. He was released on $1,822 bond.

Dennis Poole, 52, of Martinez, was arrested November 12 by a Georgia State Patrol trooper and charged with DUI and with speeding 26-30 mph over. He was released on $1,968 bond.

William Ingram Leverett, 55, of Wilkes County, was arrested November 4 by Wilkes deputies and charged with DUI and with failure to drive within a single lane. He was released on $914 bond.

Felicia Acree, 29, of Washington, was arrested November 6 by a Georgia State Patrol trooper and charged with driving without a license and with violating the child restraint law. She was released on $1,522 bond.

Dante Qwarteliz Turner, 19, of Washington, was arrested October 29 by Washington police and charged with failure to drive within a single lane and with misdemeanor possession of marijuana. He was released on $1,820 bond.

Charles H. Bolton, 63, of Rayle, was arrested October 29 by a Georgia State Patrol trooper and charged with driving while a license was withdrawn and with violating the adult restraint law. He was released on $1,460 bond.

Paul Wesley Skinner, 25, of Conyers, was arrested October 29 by Washington police and charged with DUI and with failure to drive within a single lane. He was released on $1,822 bond.

Jack M. Thurmond, 48, of Washington, was arrested November 8 by Washington police and charged with disorderly conduct. He was released on $566 bond.

Brenda L. Smith, 55, of Washington, was arrested November 11 by Washington police and charged with failure to drive within a single lane. She was released on payment of a cash fine.

Gary Cade, 47, of Tignall, was arrested November 11 by Tignall police and charged with disorderly conduct. He was released on his own recognizance.

Mallory Arnett, 34, of Washington, was arrested November 10 by Washington police and charged with disorderly conduct. He was released on bond.

Quintario Smith, 22, of Washington, was arrested November 7 by Washington police and charged with theft by shoplifting. He was released on $446 bond.

Christopher Michael Mills, 20, of Rayle, was arrested November 7 by Washington police and charged with theft by shoplifting. He was held on $446 bond.

Scottie Ferrell, 48, of Washington, was arrested November 9 by Washington police and charged with loitering. He was released on $194 bond.

Daniel Gramain Porter, 29, of Washington, was arrested October 30 by Washington police and charged with speeding 26-30 mph over. He was released on $175 bond.
