Mrs. Blanche Sisson celebrated the fourth birthday of her greatgreat granddaughter, Morgan Dove, at the home of Mike and Dean Sisson Saturday, November 28. .Madge and Charles Land visited Mrs. Eva Reed. . Sandra Pope visited Mrs. Pete Strother. . The Children's Choir from the First United Methodist Church sang and put on a play about Jesus and Mary on November 29. They even sang solos. They were so precious. We love all of you. God bless you all and have a wonderful Christmas. .Hattie Callaway visited Mrs. Sara Pruitt on November 29. .The Girls' Club donated pillows to the residents. Thank you so much. .Mrs. Nancy C. Gunby and Mrs. Alvina Martin went to Harvest Time Christian Center. Mrs. Gunby went to the vascular center in Augusta with James Simpson. . Mrs. Eva Bufford went out to lunch with Lois Greene December 1. .Clara Sutton visited Mrs. Louise Gresham, Mrs. Nancy Gunby, and Mrs. Alvina Martin on December 1. .Daphne Albertson and her mother, Mrs. Sara Pruitt, went to Augusta for doctors' appointments November 29. Christina Albertson, visited her grandmother, Mrs. Pruitt, several times during her time at home from the University. .Mrs. Nancy C. Gunby and Faye Bufford went on an outing with Gail Woods on December 2. Mrs. Gunby went to Cherry Grove Baptist Church with Jesse Sims Jr. .Members of the Sanctuary Church of God came for Sunday morning worship service. .Faye Bufford went with her sister, Donna Marie Bufford, to see "A Christmas Carol" and for supper and shopping on December 3. . Mrs. Eva Bufford went to the performance of "A Christmas Carol" at the Bolton Lunceford Playhouse on Saturday, December 3, to see Stephen in the play. . Sandra Pope visited Mrs. Pete Strother Sunday, December 4. . Sharon Williamson visited her mother, Mrs. Bessie Skipper, several times. .On Thanksgiving Day Mrs. Nancy C. Gunby cooked dinner for her family including Micki Jones from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and for Micki's nephew, Staff Sergeant Eric Young and his family, his wife Tanasha, and children, Ladaja and Eric Jr., from Valdosta. They gathered at Mrs. Gunby's house on Barnett Street in Washington and had a wonderful time. . This is about a young, beautiful, sweet, loving and caring lady, Taylor Echols, Carolyn Harper's 19-year-old daughter. I met her in Tignall at the other house where we lived when Taylor was about 12 years old. She likes to help people and please them. She works hard all over Harper's and is a perfectionist at everything she does. She is a fabulous cook and decorates for all holidays and takes care of all the flowers and plants. She goes to Athens Technical College to become a registered nurse. She has already attended college for two years and has two more years to go. Her plans are to work in a hospital and help her mother with her personal care homes. She has two beautiful and frisky children. .Gerrell Cliatt and Grady Wheless visited Mrs. Eva Reed Monday, December 5. .Mike Sisson visited his mother, Mrs. Blanche Sisson, Monday, December 5. .Mrs. Nancy Gunby went to Bible study with Clara Sutton. Mrs. Gunby also went visiting and to Bi-Lo with Margarett T. Anthony. . Daphne Albertson visited her mother, Mrs. Sara Pruitt, for dinner on Tuesday, December 6. Hattie Callaway also visited Mrs. Pruitt. . Sharon Williamson visited her mother, Mrs. Bessie Skipper, on Tuesday. .Doris Rhodes visited her mother, Mrs. Lois Flynt, Tuesday. Bobby Blakey, and Bo and Doris Rhodes visited Mrs. Flynt Wednesday. . Julia Gartrell, Louise Mobley, Margaret Barnwell, and Margie Burke came for singing and fellowship Wednesday. .The Phillips Mill Baptist Church youth group visited the residents and sang beautifully. Thank you for the bracelets you gave each one of us. .Dudley and Susan Bryant came Thursday to sing and play the piano. .We are so glad that Taylor Echols is better. We all were praying for her recovery and for all her family. We love Taylor so much. Now she will not miss our party and be home for Christmas. Prayers were answered. .Mrs. Sara Pruitt and her daughter, Daphne Albertson, ran errands Thursday evening, December 8, and enjoyed dinner out.
