SAR enjoys Christmas music

The Washington-Wilkes Chapter Sons of the American Revolution celebrated Christmas with an outstanding musical presentation on December 15. Carol L. Harris, of the Kettle Creek Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution, accompanied by Darla A. Wilson on the violin, performed a selection of Christmas hymns. The duo also led the membership in several Christmas songs and finished the evening with a fantastic delivery of a patriotic rendition of “America the Beautiful.” Both Harris and Wilson were presented Certificates of Appreciation.
