Teen survives Highway 78 rollover crash with just a scratch

Georgia State Patrol Trooper Brent Marxsen talks with Jordan Ryan Harper, 17, of Columbia County, after Harper lost control of his Ford Explorer and crashed on the Thomson Highway near Aonia last Friday. Marxsen said that Harper left the pavement on the right side of the road, and for a measured 420 feet tried to regain control until striking something that caused the vehicle to roll over. The teen, who was examined by Wilkes EMS, escaped with just a scratch and a ticket for failure to maintain a lane.
