Come join us for good food and fellowship. .We are thankful for all the rain during the past few days. I can remember when I was a child we would sing "Rain, rain, go away, come again another day." But I don't think anyone sings that now. I can't remember times when it would go so long without raining. When my parents planted the garden every spring, I don't think they worried about rain. They always raised just about everything we ate, and mother canned enough to see us through the winter. .Elaine Filipiak visited Iris Dyson Thursday afternoon. On Saturday, Charles Hopkins of Elberton came and they had lunch together at Talk of the Town Restaurant. .Reid and Kathryn Filipiak went to Milledgeville Saturday to attend the wedding of his friend Daniel Cook to Deanna Jordon that evening. Kathryn's parents, Beth and Andy Bussey of Columbus, met them in Milledgeville and kept Josephine while they attended the wedding. .I'm sorry.
