Rewards given to top students; FLBA officers attend training

This was a week of rewards at W-WMS. First, Honor Cards were given to students that made honor roll. This card entitles the student to free lemonade every Friday during this third nine-weeks grading period. They will also be allowed to enter all middle school athletic activities free of charge. Next, students were rewarded with a Pass Party outside if the student did not fail math, social studies, or science. Cupcakes were awarded to any student that earned 25 Accelerated Reader points for the second nine-weeks grading period. The last reward was a “Breakfast of Champions” for all fall and winter athletes at W-WMS.

The FBLA officers for this school year recently attended leadership training in Athens. The officers that attended were Ivie Bentley, Za’kia Booker, Claire Hall, and Yael Santillan. These girls were chaperoned by the club sponsor, Miss Casey Willis.
