First graders at Washington-Wilkes Primary School are preparing for the annual “Wild about Weather” program to be presented on Friday, February 3, at 9 a.m. in the school cafeteria. After learning about weather patterns and how weather affects changes in water in Jennifer McAvoy’s enrichment class, (front row, l-r) Trey Johnston, Laney Pressley, Phillip Villagorda, (back) Nathaly Aburto, Kelvin Heard, and Hagan Ball created frost pictures, cloud mobiles, lightning bolts, and rainbows.
