Lois Lunceford Nunn
Graveside services for Lois Lunceford Nunn, 89, of Washington, were held Friday, January 27, 2012, in Resthaven Cemetery, Washington, with Rev. Chris Townsend and Rev. Kevin Madden officiating. She died Wednesday, January 25, at Heritage Healthcare of Wilkes, Washington.
Mrs. Nunn was born in Philomath, Georgia, and was the daughter of the late Macon M. and Eva Norman Lunceford. She had worked at Almar Manufacturing Co. and Royal Manufacturing Co., as a quality control inspector. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Washington. She was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers, Lila Young and Maude Griffith, and James Amason “Butch” Sisson, and John Lloyd Sisson.
Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Warren C. Nunn, of Washington; two sons and daughters in-law, Elliot and Judy Nunn of Macon, and Dean and Susan Nunn of Washington; a sister, Vera Lunceford Williamson of Augusta; five grandchildren, Becky and Johnny Pressley of Eatonton, David Nunn of Macon, Meredith and Randy Josey of Gray, Phillip and Nikki Nunn of Nicholson, and Harley Nunn of Washington; and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers included Phillip Nunn, Harley Nunn, Mickey Sisson, Henry McAvoy, Jerry McAvoy, and Joe Hardy
