Washington-Wilkes Little League registration is still being held in the upstairs office at Ashley Park on Thursdays and Fridays from 5-7 p.m., and Saturdays from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. There is a registration fee of $55. Registration will end on Friday, February 24, with no late registration accepted.

Age categories include tee-ball, 4-6 year olds; mighty mites, 7-8; minor league baseball, 9-10; major league baseball, 11-12; and senior league baseball, 13-16.

Softball categories include minor league softball, 7-10; major league softball, 11-12; and senior league softball, 13-16.

For baseball, players must be four years old by May 1 and not older than 16. For softball, players must be seven years old by January 1 and not older than 16.

Tryouts are scheduled for Saturday, March 3. Minor league baseball and softball tryouts will be held from 10 a.m.-noon with major league baseball and softball being held from noon-2 p.m. All players in these age groups must attend tryouts.
