Still struggling
The Washington-Wilkes Tiger boys basketball team, still plagued by youth and inexperience, continues fighting to get it all together but came up short in the past week’s games losing to Lakeside (52-72), Taliaferro County (60-78), and BMC (49-54). With just three region games left, chances are slim, although not hopeless yet, that the Tigers will see post-season play. Above, Vincent Wilkinson takes a shot for Washington-Wilkes.
