Harper’s Personal Care residents enjoy visiting with family, friends
Betty Moore and Barbara Adams visited Jean Steed at her home in Washington Friday, February 10. .Wayne and Sharon Williamson visited Mrs. Bessie Skipper on several occasions. . Mrs. Eva Bufford went on an outing February 10 and went to Lincolnton on February 16. .Terry Wright and James Hughes visited Harper's. .Mrs. Sara Pruitt and her daughter, Daphne Albertson, went out to dinner Friday night, February 10. .Residents who have birthdays in February are Mrs. Louise Gresham, February 5; Mrs. Mary Jane Justice, February 11; and Mrs. Ida Bell Remsen, February 23. .Mrs. Jane Justice went on an outing Saturday, February 11. .Debbie, Jim, and Heather Justice visited Mrs. Jane Justice, and Jimmie Justice. . Annette visited the residents at Harper's. She worked at Harper's in Tignall and Washington for a very long time. She was a fantastic cook. I always told her she was a chef. She stops in when she comes this way. We have always loved Annette and always will. We are always thrilled to see her. She once lived in Tignall, but now lives in Athens. . Gwen Davenport and Dorothy Kennedy visited Mrs. Nancy C. Gunby. .Members of the Sanctuary Church of God visited for the Sunday morning church service. Pastor Tim Borris brought the message. .The residents would like to thank the children who made the precious Valentine drawings for all the residents. We love you. Happy Valentines Day from all of us here at Harper's and God bless you. .The residents of Harper's would like to thank all the people who bring vegetables, magazines, and do so much for us. We would like to thank all the churches who come and sing, pray, and preach for us. We thank the 4-H Club for bringing us birthday gifts and for playing bingo with us and give out prizes. We thank everyone who goes out of their way to do special things for us on holidays. I know I have probably left out some other special people, but we also want to thank all of you. God bless each and every one of you. .Libby Winkle took Faye Bufford on an outing February 13. Carly Mayo and Pat Thornton visited Faye Thursday. I love them very much. Carly always helps me out with my ponytail holders and latest hair accessories. I think she is about eight years old. Pat takes me to my doctors and shopping. I am truly blessed to have friends like this. Faye went on an outing on Valentines Day/ .Hattie Callaway visited Mrs. Sara Pruitt Thursday. .Renee Tucker went on an outing with her aunt Monday. .Mike Sisson visited Mrs. Blanche Sisson on Valentines Day. . Louise Mobley, Margie Burke, Patsy Borris and Julia Gartrell visited the residents for singing and fellowship on Wednesday, February 15. .Bo and Doris Rhodes visited Mrs. Lois Flynt Wednesday. .I would personally like to thank the nurse who sent Harper's the box of items to pass out to the residents. I just happened to be in the lobby when she came in the door. I looked through the box and I found some dusting powder that I could never afford. I was as happy as a little lark and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. God bless you, love and prayers, Faye Bufford.
