Graveside services for Louis Wolozin, 96, of Tignall, will be held Thursday, May 3, at 1 p.m. at Fishing Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Roy Cates officiating. He died Sunday, April 29.
Louis Wolozin was born in Galicia, Austria, to George and Sophie Lokztch Wolozin and was the widower of Vivian Ware Wolozin. He served in the United States Army/ Merchant Marines, was a retired auto mechanic, and a member of Fishing Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include his son, John Morgan Waters and his wife, Jackie, of Buford; two daughters, Nonie W. Yochim and her husband, John, of Tignall, and Kathy Robertson and her husband, Dale, of Winder; four grandchildren, Michelle McAvoy, Phoebe Davis, Nick Bourchier, and Jessica Turner; five greatgrandchildren, Morgan McAvoy, Blake Davis, Aubrey Davis, Charlie McAvoy, and Jordan Tanner; and two great- great- grandchildren, Madelyn Davis and Marlee Davis.
Pallbearers include Dale Robertson, Charlie McAvoy, David McAvoy, Blake Davis, Nick Bourchier, and Glenn Rhodes.
Hopkins Funeral Home of Washington is in charge of arrangements.
